I am on a fixed income because I'm retired. I only have my Social Security to live on at the moment. I opened a new account with Wells Fargo and this month was the first month they deposited my check with Wells Fargo. I am totally broke on New Years weekend and am unable to access my money until the 3rd. When I contacted Customer Service, they told me "Oh, your account was closed last week." REALLY!!!! I didn't tell anyone to close my account and now my money is stuck there for another couple of days. I am cleaning out my account and going back to my old bank.

Just like our current government, Wells Fargo wants to control all that you do. On my debit card it states card member since 1992. What was I thinking?!! This holiday season they have blocked my card, even though ample available funds were in the corresponding account, three different times. Once at a gas station, on Christmas eve when I was shopping, and today. Each time it was for excessive use. This last time did it - they have left my son who is traveling with his hockey team with no access to money. Merry Christmas courtesy of Wells Fargo.

I got my car loan through Wells Fargo, (before they were outed with the whole "materialized accounts" scandal, wherein thousands of people were robbed of their money who didn't even have an account with them)

I've received countless fees from them through -BADWORD- reasons that they just applied to my account out of nowhere- I am a responsible tax paying citizen who reads the contracts closely - and these f@ckers wronged me.

After calling them out over the phone, they assured me they'd take out the difference for each month I overpaid, in each following car payment I made until it was cleared.

Nope. My car payment has gone from original, to doubled, to now somewhere in between.

-BADWORD-. These. Pricks. I hope each and every one of them get cancer, and that their children are the fat kids in class.

I was in banking for twenty eight years, managing the branches of a small bank, and then joined my wife in her business. For the past ten years I have been banking with Wells Fargo, with business accounts, line of credit, savings and checking, and have found them to be the most dishonest and inept excuse for a bank, unable to answer a single question correctly about how they operate. Nobody has the authority to anything. When Obamacare changed in January and my insurance companies changed, the new insurance company automatically debited my account. It was then that I learned the overdraft protection was not properly set up on my account by them, and they took $175 in service charges from the account and bounced checks. To correct the issue, the person in the bank said I would need to talk to customer service on the telephone, which I did, and they said I would need to speak to the manager. I waited over an hour, and The branch manager has no authority to offer customer service, and she sent me to Regional Vice President of North Cobb County, Kevin ROgers, who refused to as much as return telephone calls. This the last straw. We will be closing all of our accounts and starting the New Year with Sun Trust Bank. Kevin Rogers is an officer for a local charity SafePath Children's Advocacy Center. I wonder how that works for this charity that does good, with a such a hated poor excuse for a businessman involved.
Don't wait until they screw you. Run to your branch of Wells Fargo and close out all your accounts or you too will be writing one of these horror stories before too long.

Wells Fargo honored a deferment in 9/16 after I had my first child and need a moment to get my affairs in order due to a cut in pay while on maternity leave. 2 months later after I asked for the deferment Wells Fargo decided all in their own to report this payment late even though I made my November, December payments. The reason they reported was becasue of a form that was never asked for at day of deferment then they proceeded after several attempts to correct the email that was on file and the form never made it. They could not even send to the bank that I bank at so I could sign at a branch. I mean is it fair that these banks can just ruin you as a person because we are judged as a credit score in society. How are we suppose to get ahead if others are in control of what we strive to do daily. And that is to work, pay bills, and love our God!!

Think twice when given the opportunity to use another banking institution if possible.

MONEY ORDERS MADE OUT TO ME FROM MY DAUGHTER. Try to deposit them to her acct at WF. Did this several times before. Today they won't let me. Say the mos need to be made out to her in order to go in her acct. The fact that WF screws their customers with various tactics makes me wonder why anyone uses them.

Wells Fargo is a home mortgage predatory lender. Do not do any business with them. People to watch out for at Michael Schenk @ 877-762-8155 # 29683 and Katie Harrestin at 515-631-4394 or her fax number 866-513-9896

They pushed my sales of my properties to the bottom of the response stack for 16 months. I lost the sale on the properties twice. Wells Fargo collected the insurance coverage and then turned around and sold the property for less than I had it sold for in order to double dip on proceeds. There is no moral compass with this company.

‘Material Errors’

When its living will was first rejected earlier this year, Wells Fargo was hammered for “material errors.” In a plan re-filed on Oct. 1, the bank detailed what it had done to fix its deficiencies. The publicly available section of the revised plan said it sold some non-core businesses to make the bank easier to handle in a failure. The lender also said it increased capital and liquid assets to be better able to absorb losses.

In Tuesday’s second failure, the bank didn’t remedy problems with how it has organized its various “legal entities” and how it shares its services among units, according to the Fed and FDIC.
