I worked for the company and after pushing back on unethical behavior for years they let me go. I have witnessed my manager open CCs for the elderly against their wishes before they go on vacation for "safety" reasons.
Ive watched him try to convince his employees that it is ok to screw people over and Ive seen him lie to Latinos and people who are less versed in finances in order to get a sale out of it.
Rather than investigate him or the two people more responsible than him (district manager and regional vice president) they made an example out of me for doing what they trained me to do.
DONT TRUST this company!!!!!!!! Sales goals are back as of Feb '17!!!!!!!! Management was promoted for unethical behavior, the creatures of habit wont change any time soon!

Source: Wells Fargo scandal might cost top execs their 2016 bonuses

Wells Fargo's board is considering whether to eliminate 2016 bonuses for CEO Tim Sloan and Chief Financial Officer John Shrewsberry, according to a source familiar with the matter. The source said the company’s board of directors will make its decision in the coming weeks, in advance of the release of the bank’s annual proxy statement in mid-March.

I discovered that someone has been making charges to my checking account with my debit card that were not mine. All charges were to Amazon. I filed a claim. A week later I get a letter from Wells saying that as per my instruction, the claim has been closed. I never closed this claim. When I called, the Wells person tells me the letter was a mistake. I don't believe it. A mistake would have been if the letter they sent me had "Bob Smiths's" name on it or something like that. If I hadn't responded to the letter they would have closed the claim and that would have been that. Am I being paranoid? I don't think think so. I've been banking with Wells Fargo for 35 years. I think they are are scum.

I hate WF, it started with the immoral,possibly illegal credit card account padding that the executives mandated (President denied LOL) to the compliant worker bees. Like most large corporations, Wells Fargo is about greed at the cost of integrity. Today I received a check from Wells Fargo after closing my accounts. I went to Wells Fargo to cash the check and they charged me $7.50! After doing business at this branch for over 10 years they charge me a fee to cash a check they wrote! Money Grabbers stealing our money as fees to line their greedy pockets. They only get away with it as long as you let them...

Really insulting experience, I've moved my personal and business to a LOCAL Credit Union, much better service and no more BS money changer fees... WF= NO INTEGRITY GREEDY CORP.

They are discriminating. I have “proof” of what they did to me over 3 years ago. With the help from my ex husband and Wells Fargo “locked” me out of my home loan. My ex husband still lives in the house and both him and Wells Fargo has “treated” me to sign back into a “new loan” after I cave my ex the home and filled bankruptcy 2 years ago. I really need legal help, I had and have no money to do so.

High interest crooks! They just stole my check for water damage and no one at that -BADWORD- organization knows anything about it. They are nothing but crooked -BADWORD-s! I hate them but they have me by the balls. No one at Wells Fargo handles insurance money they said, but the check from Livingston Insurance went to them and they know nothing about it. I had an auto loan through Wells Fargo. I was involved in serious accident. I missed three payments. This rocked my credit score by 150 points! I paid the loan off with 6 months of the wreck/ accident. Wells Fargo refuse to dismiss the report to the credit bureaus. Because of this my credit has been rendered useless. I have never missed a payment in my life, now I cant get a single loan.

Recently I had an issue where Amazon charged me to renew my prime membership and the charge made me go overdrawn. (I am a broke college student, don't judge, lol) Anyways, I have been with WF over a year and this was my first time being overdrawn with them. I was shocked at the $35 dollar fee! Amazon refunded the charge on my account and was wonderful, but when I called Wells Fargo they refused to refund the overdraft charge. I never had an issue with US Bank in the past when I had an accidental overdraft. I will be going back to US bank once I graduate in the spring from college and move to my new area. I will never use Wells Fargo for anything in my future. I am still young... there are plenty of times when I will need to do real business with a bank(besides my basic checking and savings.) I mean, house mortgages, policies, savings accounts...eventually I will need these services. I won't even consider Wells Fargo. If they take advantage of their customers at the lowest level, how could I trust them with more important business? I can't. Plus, I hate how much they push sales when I go into the branch office. I actually find myself dreading and avoiding going to the bank in person. Is that the right way for a customer to feel? I don't think so. :(
