I get 2 checks deposited into my account each month. This month as no different.January 1 my retirement check From Fidelity Investments went in on January 1.I was going to town and I paid part of my bills and bought groceries. I spent lot of money that day when I got home I realized I had spent more than I thought leaving my account to a plus $1.57 balance. I was not worried I knew nothing was coming out of the account until January 5th and January 3rd my other check would be in my account and I did not go on line to check my account until the January 5th. To find out something very strange.. A payment for insurance I had taken out through AARP had hit my account on January 3rd early usually January 5th for almost $ 40.00 was on my statement going in 2 days early. Then next line item was a $35.00 overdraft fee. Then the 3rd line was my deposit of my Disability check. all on January 3rd. I called to ask why. I got a girl who could not speak and not understand English but could talk good in circles and fill in forms blanks. I am 63 years old and with an 1.7 Increase in my Disability which is nothing considering the cost of everything that has went up while Congress and Senators got an 7 % increase in pay for doing nothing. I started to get angry at the none concern of the lady I was talking to and her talking in circles about how she thought I was wrong and she was filing out a complaint for me as a warm fuzzy but I was not getting my $35.00 back. I asked for a supervisor. The Supervisor got on and took sides immediately with the same song and dance.. WELLS FARGO had a legal way to screw me out of $ 35.00 and basically they was going to do it. I had been with them over 10 years now back when it was Wachovia and the service was good not great but at least good. WELLS FARGO are hunting loop holes to make up for the lower interest rates they are having to make loans for to be in the banking industry.I am going Monday to a new bank a smaller one that does cater to the retired and disabled and it is local with many free features . WELLS FARGO can kiss the customer goodbye after 10 years and please use the left check of this former Wells Fargo customers -BADWORD- to do it on..

Anyone remember Jed Clampet? 90 million in the bank and they would do anything for him. I’m no Jed but I do have over 800K in the bank so you think they would do something for me. Ever since Wells Fargo took over it has been a constant battle not to pay fees. We just opened an estate account with 10K and despite having near a million dollars in their bank they still tried to charge fees. It took 4 hours to set up this account and they told us we needed 2 accounts when I know we only needed one. A month later we get a letter implying a conversation that never took place and said we would be paying fees. When I said we are not paying a fee and closed the account they insisted on giving us a check made payable to the estate so we had to go to another bank to set up another account. When I needed the tax ID number for the other bank WF lied to me saying they don’t use Tax ID numbers. Finally after putting pressure on them they gave me the number. They even charged us for checks on our other account. When I questioned that they said we needed to be 50 years old not to pay for checks. We are 50 not that that should matter. I’ll say it again we have close to 900K in the bank they should be begging me not to take the money out instead they constantly try to charge me $10 or $20 for BS fees. They keep trying to push ATM cards on us and act like we are bothering them because we have no ATM card. When my wife was in the bank and made an offhand remark about not getting enough interest they tried to sell her another account. Just give us better interest on the account we have. They tried switching our accounts to a different number it was a fiasco. All for an extra $5.00 interest per month so someone can get some kind of bonus for setting up an account. Finally someone who is not in India called me to solve my issues but they basically told me this is the way it is and we can’t change it. So now we are with another bank who treated us good right from the start the people went out of their way to help us and we only started with a small deposit.

WF bank, had me 1 hour on the phone due the inefficiency of their customer service and phone service. I had a "free" PMA account with 100.00 in it and I forgot about it...WF charged me 30.00 dollar a month for service fees, for an account not used. I didn't notice and my account overdrew because of these charges, now they want to pay the overdraft so I can close the account. SO, I not only lost my 100.00 to WF, but on top of it I had to pay them...

These -BADWORD-s not only raked me over the coals with hidden fees (for a debit card. Really?) It plunged me 200 dollars into debt. So I paid them off, and had to get a new card...they changed my PIN on me without telling me. What use is this hunk of plastic to me? I've had to blow money getting this goddamned card fixed cuz the customer service beats around the bush and is to lazy to do ANYTHING about it. What in the serious -BADWORD-.

After 26 years with the bank in various changes over the years Wells Fargo has treated my wife and I like deadbeats and we've experienced a horrible con game in the last six months. We went to them of refinancing after my cancer returned and I was unemployed four months before retirement. We thought after falling two months behind ($4,200)with late charges we was refinancing when in fact we were directed towards a hardship program. Thinking we were being helped we agreed to reduced payments for six months with the promise of a modification after the six month payment history. Now things go crazy for us. Our bill now after they compound and add fees against our history of partial payments per the hardship agreement is almost $13,000 which is being held over our heads even before they consider modifying the same loan they've held at 5.5%. It's hustling now when we try to get information and an explanation about charges. Worst everyone now at Wells Fargo acts as if they don't know what they're doing, they're insulting and acting dumb on purpose to continue this ripoff. I'm shocked and abused. What can I do now?

Wells Fargo is absolutely the worst creditor I have ever dealt with. The outrageous fees and interest they charge for their Wells Fargo credit card is outrageous! A person can not even pay down the credit card due to their rediculous fees and interest.I will be closing all my accounts with Wells Fargo just as soon as my CC is paid off. Then I will tell them to stick their banking up their -BADWORD-!

Charged a monthly fee just because i missed 3 atm transactions in the month period they chose. Was it worth losing a customer that has never bounced a check and has had a positive balance for the last 20+ years for 12.00? I hope it was because il never bank at wells fargo again. Ps my business account is also leaving. Hope stealing was worth it..

I attempted to refi throughthe 3-step program. My processor Meester Knox was highly incapable of helping me defeat the underwriters occupancy review. I was told they would watch me sleep at night. Wells Fargo watches,me!

I can't say anything more than Well Fargo sucks. I was with Wachovia whom I loved and had no problems with. But WF took over and everything changed. I have just in the last couple of days finalized a re-fi and now I will no longer have to deal with them on the mortgage. Now all I have to do is move my $ from checking to TD Bank whom I find is customer FRIENDLY, not like Wells Fargo. Seriously people, consider TD Bank. No, I am not employed or have any connection with TD other than the accounts I have with them.
