Moved and over my limit; was 10 days late making my payment and began receiving 2-3 phone calls a day from a number in OR. Traced it to be Wells Fargo. They never left messages, no emails, no letters just hang ups. I called and arranged a payment on pay day. The calls continued 2-3 calls a day and was told they would continue until I make a payment. So what is the purpose of the phone calls? It is not to arrange resolution but to harass customers. No documentation of my 'good faith' effort at all. Even the 'mediator' from Wells Fargo was all about how horrible I was. I wrote the BBB, Consumer Action, and the Board of Directors. Wells Fargo closed my account. No sweat off my back! hate 'em with a passion. Worst customer 'ethics' I have ever encountered. Read their mission statement: a real joke.
Received a letter from them and they denied all the calls, just a couple of them. But I have phone records to prove it. They are revengeful and do not interact with their customers in a positive manner; and have never experienced interaction such as this from any credit, or any organization. I make arrangements and follow through. But with them, doesn't matter. Stay away! Why else would there be so many complaints? |

I was charged a monthly service fee of 13 dollars for the second time in a row for my type of checking account. first time the representitve apologized and gave me my money back but this time she didnt.They say I have to have a direct deposit of 750 a month to waive the service fee... when i explained i exceded the requierment for the month she said it had to be 750 at ONE time...well i get paid every week and its not no 750 each time but i do make over 750 for the month.. thats rediculous i told her. First thing in the morning i am changing banks. wells fargo is all about hassel and headaches. they are king of charging fees! |

Wells Fargo just closed my account for a reason that I will never know. They stated it is within their rights to close any account as a 'business decision'. I have never had any overdrafts and my balance is high.
I am now forced to live without access to most of my money for the next ten days while they write and mail me a check. How am I supposed to pay rent, live and eat without MY money.
I wish everyone would know what a horrible bank this is. While the local tellers are friendly, the customer service rep on the line was not. Its like the locals know their corporate bank is not customer friendly and they have to make up for it by being nice in order to keep customers. My daughter has an account there too and she is closer hers.
Worst. Bank. Ever. |

If you deal with these guys be prepared to bend over and take a big one.
We tried a refinance of a home loan. The demand, once the data was taken at the local branch, to complete everything else over the phone. They called me. Everything about it smelled Pfishing Scam, but may have been legit. I refused to reveal this info over an open (wireless) phone line. We went to loggerheads over this. Project canceled.
They refused to refer me to their security department over this. I tried contacting them via a web phone number. Guess what ??? They refused to pass me anywere unless I provided all my personal information over the phone. HELLO ! ! ! Is anyone in the world today still so stupid as to fall for this kind of -BADWORD- ?
BTW, don't try BofA either, they are worse, it that was even possible. |

I have to send you this email to notify you that I am being harassed by your collections department everyday. I have explained to every one that has called and there Supervisor that I just refinanced my home with Wells Fargo hence the reason payment on my old loan wasn't made. No one I have spoken to has had the decency to follow up on my case and verify this and end the calling, they just have someone call the next day.
It has to be in no uncertain terms the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any company I have ever dealt with. Please I beg you, put a procedure in place so that one hand knows what the other is doing with your financial institution. The harassment is ridiculous to say the least. I would have thought that the first person that called me would have verified that I settled and that the payment was in fact not due. Wouldn't that make more sense than alienating your clients? |

I transferred money from my savings to cover a check on day of Oct 01. That night the check went through my account, Wells Fargo charged me an overdraft fee, Customer Service Rep stating the "merchant" asked to put that through on the 28. But it went through too late.
??
I simply paid a bill with a check. That cleared my account Oct 01.
Wells Fargo Customer Service then asked me if I would like to link my 100K Business Account to my online Banking. (This was someone else's business account with my name. Not my account.
Be careful people. |

I close my account of wells fargo on 09/20/2012 , because found that even you transfer from checking to saving every month, they start to charge you $10 from May 4th. However, I didn't pay attention to it till September.
09/28 Got phone call said I owe them money.
10/02 go to deal with the bank, they charge me $ 35 more for overdraft .
I have closing the account in Chase before, they hold the money still outstanding, so you don't need to go back, and you don't pay the overdraft.
Wells fargo have record the money I still owe them, so they can deduct the money when I close the account, and they didn't. then now they charge me $35 for their mistake????????
I argue with them. however they don't think its their fault. they give me partial refund.
I paid the money for their mistake????
I will never use Wells fargo in my life agin!!!!!
That's not a bank.. that's a machine keep finding every possible way to get the money they don't entitle to!!! |

On 10-1-12, approximately 11A Monday morning, I spoke to BETTY NELSON, in the credit department. She has to be the most unprofessional person in the history of Wells Fargo... I am a CUSTOMER, and I believe I am the reason why she has her job. Without customers, she wouldn't be employed!!!! Her attitude was the worst ever!!!! How can you have a professional job and mistreat your customers?????
I'm publishing this and her name, because I wouldn't want no one else mistreated as I was. I certainly hope some type of disciplinary action will be taken in this matter. I am a professional, and I would never mistreat anyone as I was.
I will go through ever channel of Wells Fargo until I'm heard...
NOT ONLY AM I MAD AND DISGRUNTLED for the quality of service I received, but I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere, where I'm APPRECIATED. |

LIVID once again. After all of last week's continual "overdraft fees" on things that had already come out of my balance, but were in "pending" status, they decided to cut off BOTH of my cards, one of which is not part of my personal checking account!!! Went to Kwik Trip this morning, card declined...What? there is over $1500 in my account, I just got paid! Called the 800 number, gave them my card number, "I'm sorry, I'm not able to use that card"....WHAT?! finally dug out a check book....when I received the bad news. NO NOTICE that they were going to do this..she said because transactions kept coming in after the balance was overdrawn...Um, look at the dates on the transactions. You will see that the card was never used after the overdraft...this is THEIR bad business practice, NOT mine. Money is coming out TODAY!!!! |
