 . Wells Fargo refused to cash one of my pay checks because I was not an account holder. They made me sit down and speak to an account rep because they said my checks were fraudulent.
I was accused of a being a criminal when all I was doing was trying to cash a paycheck drawn off of the wells Fargo bank!!! I was forced to provide multiple firms of identification and then the rep began to question me about my family members and their ages!! Last time i checked I didn't know it was a crime to go to work and cash my paycheck !! The only reason I went to WF to cash the check was because I was simply trying to deposit money into my child's account who is a WF account holder...just trying to save gas and time due to high gas price.... The employees are rude and they lack knowledge!! My child is also leaving WF due to the experience today. This is not the first time we have had problems with simple menial transactions!! DONT BANK WITH WELLS FARGO!!! If u want to keep your sanity.

Received wrong information from a rep in May, now my account continually shows up as being paid late. Was told they cannot control or stop the late fees from coming on my account. And if I go on a payment plan to catch up on the missed month mortgage payment(which happened because I was given the wrong information) they still will charge me late fees.

Wells fargo has the most incompetent, untrained -BADWORD- bank representatives in their company. everytime I order a new card, or a new check. or ask for something via mail. it never gets to my goddamn house. and their stupid retarded universal excuse is "oh there was something wrong with the system.." maybe if they weren't complete retards, i wouldn't be complaining this much. more than 5 times, have i gotten -BADWORD- service from them. almost up to the point where i have to keep visiting them and asking them "hey you guys said my card would be sent in 5 business days....its been a month"...i've literally said this to them more than 5 times...-BADWORD- terrible service. Wells fargo....you -BADWORD- suck! now the online banking is giving me trouble...not showing me up-to-date withdrawal and deposits.Wells fargo....you ....-BADWORD- SUCK! TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES!

So I like took out $76,000 worth of student loans from wells Fargo and like I voted for Obama cause he said he take care of us, and like now, I can't find a job so yeah... And like wells Fargo calls me and like is rude to me and I tell them, I liked partied alot in college so like don't call me before 3:00 pm...
I took 76k in loans and wells Fargo asked me to pay it back!? Like ok... Ya big jerks !

Everybody who posts on here is a crybaby. You never want to take responsibility for your own actions. Banks don't overdraw accounts, they just process the transactions you make. Also, people are given disclosures for a reason. They are meant to be read. "nobody told me!" is not an excuse. Burned children fear fire for a reason...

Online banking with Wellsfargo has been a horrible experience. My account showed a positive balance every time I withdrew from my account and then a tune of over draft fees begain to accumulate almost all at once. I unknowingly over drew my account over a hundred dollars for an accumulation of under thirty dollars. Wellsfargo gets to keep my entire check with they exception of thirty dollars left in my account . I called Wellsfargo and a representative told me he could erase one maybe two of those fees and my balance would be -161.48. I said ok... today it was -243.87 fees were apparently still accumulating. I cannot pay my rent this moth and am not eligible for an extension. Signed H

After 15 years, my account suddenly started receiving service charges. I keep trying to login to my account and multiple times in a row it was un-available due to website maintenance. Then it would say none of my accounts are available online. Called customer no-service. They could not explain the charges or why I could not get to my account online. I told them I wanted to close my account and they said I would have to go to a local branch.

My problems have been with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, not the bank. Not sure if that's allowed here, but I'll see I guess.
After one year, they raised my mortgage payment by $200 from $1,000 to $1,200. No, it is not an adjustable rate mortgage. They claim this was to makeup for a shortfall in my escrow account to pay my taxes and insurance.
Shortly after that I receive a letter from my insurance company saying that I better pay my insurance premium because it is due very soon. So I call WF and ask them what the deal is and they say that they are not collecting for my insurance and that they were not instructed to handle my insurance payments through the escrow account. This was, of course, wrong. My mortgage person at WF who set the whole thing up, screwed up and didn't include that. After this, I went through a lot of phone calls and time getting them to admit that raising my monthly payment by $200 was too much, especially if they weren't paying my insurance. So, they ended up only raising by $100.
Recently, I looked into refinancing my mortgage because it is at 5% and the going rate is/was around 3.875%. Unfortunately, I used WF to do this.
I had to pay $350 to have my place appraised, again. Today they contacted me and told me the appraisal came out to $155,000. ONE YEAR AGO, when I first got the mortgage, their appraiser said it was worth $183,000, which is about what I paid for it. IN ONE #!$@ YEAR, it goes down $30,000????
So, now I would have to pay PMI, blah, blah, blah or I could dispute the appraisal by going to at least 6 of my neighbors and getting them to have their houses appraised. Yeah, that's almost gonna happen. I hate these people Sooooooooooo much.

I just won a bid on a forclosed home... Not in the worst shape, just neglected. The plumbing leaks and there is no carpeting. Without digging too far, Wells Fargo is the only lender who will approve me because I'm self employed. It should havebeen a sign when I tried to get a student loan from them and was denied. Anyway, 5 days before we close, they say that I need to paint the floor in the house. Yes, paint the floor. There are no pet stains or anything bad, they are just bare. Apparently it's a standard of living issue. They don't care that the plumbing doesn't work, we don't know if the water heater or furnace works because the house has been vacant for 4 years, or that the deck off of the kitchen feels like it is about to fall over. They care that I have flooring, even if it means painting the particle board. They also decided to point out that there is telephone wiring exposed. If you didn't know, telephone lines only run 48v DC, and that's only when it is ringing. you'd be luck to get a spark. And wait, it's the 20th century, I only have a cell phone!
So now they've delayed the closing past HUD's original contract and I have to pay a $375 penalty to request an extension on the contract.
I asked if their appraiser was smoking crack and the mortgage broker denied the accusation. They agreed for me to put 1.5 times the estimated cost of installing flooring into an escrow account until I have flooring installed.... Great plan Fargo: Now the money I intended to use to purchase flooring is tied up in an escrow account! So turns out that it's not a quality of living issue, just a pain in my -BADWORD- issue.
