Years ago, my wife and I obtained a mortgage loan for commercial real estate from Wells Fargo bank. That loan was paid off in full 11-4-2013. The problem is they never filed a reconveyance with the county to clear the property as collateral tying up the property still to this day.

Our current loan officer worked on this and received no assistance from Wells Fargo; the same thing happened with our current title company. When I personally got involved after many deflections and run arounds, I finally received an anonymous response from their BBG loan servicing department. Such a response is impossible to hold any actual person accountable.

We have already lost one loan because of this and the current loan will time out soon as well. It was not difficult to do this 8 years ago and is not difficult to do today but here we are one game to the next. They even wrongly attempted to lay this off on the county recorder.

No consumer should have to deal with this type of problem, more so the amount of time and contacts thus far that is required is in and of itself just horrible. Wells Fargo should not be in the mortgage loan business.

Twenty nine years with WF and I closed all accounts today.

Had a car loan that I paid in full and always in time through their bill pay and they reported me late twice. Still cannot get them to remove the incorrect late reporting yo credit bureau.

Last week I tried to do a bank to bank transfer from my other bank to WF and they locked my account, kicked me off online banking and told me to come to a local branch with my ID and a copy of my statement from my other back showing the transaction. I did all that and it still took WF a week to give me access to my money and online banking.

Closed all accounts today. I will never be back.

Deposit a check via mobile banking and they hold the check for 10 days ...for what ? Because they need to make money off you with their overnight deposits...I will close this account as soon as my money is deposit into my account.

when I was a teenager I had a wells fargo account for a little over a year. It was specifically set up as a direct deposit account, along with a credit card. While I was traveling with my family, they unlinked the accounts causing me to " overdraft my limit" on the credit card. Each carefully planned and calculated transaction I had saved for costed me an outrageous 35 dollar overdraft fee. Upon arriving back home I called wondering why my balance was negative, aghast at by how much and was told that my accounts weren't linked and that I should have been more aware of my funds. At this point I tried to contest the underhanded tactics and was told point blank that there was nothing wells fargo could do. At this point I was over 300 in debt to them in overdraft fees alone, but had PLENTY of funds available in my debit account. ( I was only ever given one card, a *debit card) At this point I was done with wells fargo; went into the bank and closed All accounts. I opened a new account at a new bank for my direct deposits and lived off of tips for a few month so that I could start saving for a car. Apparently when Wells Fargo says that have closed ALL of your accounts, they havent. my new bank contacted me to let me know they hadn't received a single direct deposit from my employer. I called my HR department and asked where the funds were being sent; Low and Behold they were being sent to a FROZEN account with wells fargo. Due to not receiving a bounce back notification my employer hadn't updated my direct deposit. I went BACK in to Wells Fargo and asked why they hadn't closed ALL of my accounts when they were asked to. The response was " You asked us to close your credit and savings NOT your debit account". So of course I tried closing this account and was immediately hit with, "since your debit is linked with your checking account, we will ho ahead and process your overdue fees for your direct deposit account ( 25 dollars per month if no direct deposit was made)" To which I obviously replied with a dumbfounded whaaaat? Apparently when they "closed " my account, they didn't close my account AND somehow switched the routing numbers so I accrued 8 $ 25 dollar " lack of deposit " fees for no direct deposit coming in, even though they received all of those direct deposits in a now " connected" account. Those fees I contested and received compensation for ( 20 dollars out of 25) . It still galls me to this day that they screwed me out of so much money for no reason.

Called today to update my bi-weekly mortgage payment. I navigated their phone menu (that reminded me numerous times to use their website... website did not have capability to make said adjustment online...) only to end up with dead air for 10 mins. Called back and got some f-tard who didn't understand I want to increase my payment by $100 each time; the additional balance to go towards principle. 3 times I explained it in plain English and all 3 times he responded with the same, wrong presumptions. I'm just going to set a calendar reminder and do it manually!

They suck!

Wells Fargo has a Home Equity Line with me. Over 10 years ago my husband filed bankruptcy. Since then we have been discriminated against and treated badly. I have never missed a payment in 10 years nor has one been late. The most recent thing that happened, I called in to the bank to make the payment electronically. They have never let me log online and pay my payments but when I called in They said it was the easiest way to make the payment and took the information. I made 2 payments like this over the last 2 months. I called in and tried to make another payment and asked for the account balance They gave me one that is totally wrong. I found out that Wells Fargo reversed my last 2 payments because someone that had previously filed bankruptcy 10 years ago is not allowed to make electronic payments. I think now that they are probably filing a foreclosure on my house. I only owe $1300 and if the payments were credited I would only owe $800. When I make my payments at the local bank, they don't credit them for 30 days. I presume that's so they can collect more interest. I really HATE Wells Fargo and I don't recommend anyone use them.

Boss went to local Largo FL bank today to transfer some of a multi million asset account and was unknown. the response to him by the employees of that branch caused him to leave and swear never to do business with them again. waited for 45 min. to open account and when he complained out comes 3 additional personal. not to provide additional help but to inform him to "sit down and wait" !!!! I know he had a ck for over 5.7 m and would have set ground work for other connected contacts to follow. guess he interrupted the circle jurk going on it the back room. thought this would be funny for all you to enjoy

I have had similar problems. US citizen traveling in Egypt. I contacted Wells Fargo before I left home telling them I would be in EGYPT specifically and for how long. It works, almost always, at retail shops, unless you make more than one purchase quickly back-2-back then it will be declined. This happened to me only yesterday while I was in a Burger King - very fraudulently I suppose, so I used cash for the second purchase. In Egypt there is an online company Souq, which is owned by Amazon, that they refused my card for online purchase. I filed a complaint with WF which worked its way up to the Wells Fargo Executive Office. After discussions with them, my subsequent purchases at Souq.com have been approved. So, mistakenly, I thought my online purchases here in Egypt were good to go. Not so fast - I wanted to order some food through Talabat, a food delivery service, and again my credit card was refused, I contacted the WFEO representative that had helped me previously and left a message. Didn't hear back from them and I haven't tried to order on Talabat again for fear my card will be refused. I was concerned my credit rating would be adversely affected by these refusals. So, I as well as you, am looking for another bank for my money - one that is truly an international bank and does not have such petty rules to keep you separated from your money.

I’ve worked for Wells Fargo over 7 yrs gave them much of my time and only wish I could take it back during my work experience I’ve took on many of their disgruntled customers assisting with their -BADWORD- up comp system. customers saying they have been cheated or just upset Wells is holding their money for extended periods of time. Through your the yrs constantly apologizing for the companies mistakes. Worked an entire location with just me on the floor seeing 40-45 customers a day with no help from neighboring branches to be over looked on two positions only to be given to outside parties and than ask if I could assist in training them watch racial discrimination happen right in front of me. Was told I had to come to work during the height of covid only to be told they have to let me go after u have me come out and deal with customers face to face to tell me they have to let me go only to find out that many of the employees at my branch have been switched out for Spanish speaking employees all because the the branch that held most of the Spanish speaking employees permanently closed which explains why me and a few other black colleagues were told we are no longer needed
